Using AssureSwarm

Ten task guides for day-to-day work: the shell, items, steps, forms, workflows, templates, dashboards, the universe, time, and agent suggestions.

Your tenant’s administrators configure the item types, fields, statuses, and workflows you work with, so exact names vary from one organization to the next and these guides use generic examples. What you see in the navigation, and on any given item or step, depends on your page access.

New to AssureSwarm altogether? Getting started walks a first hour end to end, then these guides go deeper one task at a time.

The navigation is built from your tenant’s own data, so the middle of the row is one entry per configured item type. Around the shell tours the whole frame, including the avatar menu and the Activity Hub.

Entry What it’s for
Dashboards Widgets and reports summarizing items, workflows, and activity.
Item type pages (for example Issues, Risks) Browse, search, and filter the records of one item type. One page per item type configured in your tenant.
My Items Items you own, or that were shared with you.
Templates Reusable workflow templates you can start a new workflow from.
Time Log and review hours against items, when your tenant has it enabled.
Admin Tenant configuration. Visible only to administrators.

Two entries people often go looking for are not in this row. Workflows is not a top-level page: a workflow opens from its item or from a dashboard link. The forms inbox sits in your avatar menu instead, except for external collaborators, who get a My Forms entry in the navigation because it is most of what they use.

Forms assigned to you wait in your forms inbox, reachable from your avatar menu. Open one, read the step context shown alongside it, answer the required questions including any file uploads, and submit. Responding to forms covers the whole round trip, and Forms explains how a form connects to the step behind it.

Time in the navigation opens a weekly grid, Monday through Sunday, where you log hours against the items you worked on. Entries move through DRAFT, SUBMITTED, APPROVED, and REJECTED. Tracking time has the grid, the limits, and the review side.

If your organization connects AI agents, they never write to your data directly. Every change one proposes arrives as a suggestion for a person to approve or reject, and Reviewing suggestions is the procedure. To connect an assistant of your own, see Connect an agent.
